Hey, I'm Agnieszka.
I'm a Polish-born artist based in Canada, working mainly with linocut and mixed media. My background is in graphic design and illustration, and my inspiration often comes from nature, folklore, and the stars above. My art explores themes like transformation, wilderness, and the unseen—brought to life through detailed carving and rich textures.
I’ve spent years developing my skills in traditional printmaking, blending old-world techniques with a modern voice. Now, I’ve created this course to share everything I’ve learned—not just the technical side of linocut, but how to approach your art with emotion, purpose, and personal meaning.

The course includes 11 modules 50+ video lessons to guide your creative journey step by step. You'll complete up to 6 full linocut projects, each designed to build your skills progressively.
The course is suitable for everyone. It’s best to follow the modules in order, starting from the basics and moving toward more advanced techniques and projects. Each module includes practical demonstrations, creative prompts, and insights to help you develop your own visual language through linocut.
I focus on showing each technique clearly, with close-up footage of the carving, inking, and printing process — so you can follow along and build your confidence with every project.

Tools and Materials
Learn about the essential tools and materials used in linocut—from linoleum and carving tools to inks, brayers, and printing equipment.
Module 3
Before We Start
Learn how to prepare your materials, properly hold and care for your tools, understand positive and negative space in linocut, and try out some test cuts and textures.
Module 4
First Linocut – SIMPLE DESIGN
We’ll start with a small and simple design—a carving tool illustration. You’ll learn the full process from sketch to print using water-based ink.
Module 5
Second Linocut – Thank you Card
Create a lovely card you can share! You’ll learn how to transfer a design with text, understand visual noise, and print multiple copies by hand using oil-based ink.
Module 6
Third Linocut – JELLYFISH
Explore more detailed carving and texture. Practice transferring your design with carbon paper. In this project, we’ll focus on carving flowy elements in negative space.
Module 7
Fourth Linocut – OCEAN VIEW
Learn how to build up a scene with many different textures and carving techniques. Great practice for creating backgrounds, gradients, and layered detail.
Module 8
Fifth Linocut – JUMPING BUNNY
A fun, playful design! Strengthen your skills in a more detailed project where the focus is on creating shadow and depth using textures. You’ll also practice printing a more complex block.
Module 9
Sixth Linocut – Two-COLOR Water Lily
Your most advanced project—printing with two separate linoleum blocks and two colors. Learn registration techniques and how to transfer your image from one block to the other.
Module 10
Common Mistakes & Troubleshooting
We’ll go over the most common printing problems—like over-inking, under-inking, paper shifting—and how to fix or avoid them.

Signing and Editioning Prints
Learn how to properly sign, number, and frame your prints like a professional.
