Hey, I'm Agnieszka.
I'm a Polish-born artist based in Canada, working mainly with linocut and mixed media. My background is in graphic design and illustration, and my inspiration often comes from nature, folklore, and the stars above. My art explores themes like transformation, wilderness, and the unseen—brought to life through detailed carving and rich textures.

The course includes 7 modules and 40 video lessons to guide you through more advanced linocut techniques. You'll complete 5 full linocut projects, each designed to help you confidently create multi-colour prints.
This course is designed for intermediate linocut artists who already know the basics and want to expand their skills. It’s best to follow the modules in order as we move from registration techniques and colour planning to more complex multi-block and reduction linocut projects. Each module includes practical demonstrations and clear explanations to help you understand every step of the process.
I focus on showing each technique clearly, with close-up footage of the carving, inking, and printing process—so you can follow along and confidently build layered, colourful prints.

Module 1
Introduction
Get an overview of what you will learn in this course and understand the difference between multi-block and reduction linocut.
Module 2
Before We Start
Learn different registration techniques so all your prints align perfectly. Understand the basics of colour theory and experiment with colourful inks by printing a colour wheel.
Module 3
Butterfly – Multiblock Linocut with a Key Block
We will start by printing a vibrant butterfly using a four-block linocut, where one of the blocks will be the key block. You will learn how to transfer your design, carve colourful layers, and print a clean multi-colour image.
Module 4
Rooster – Three-Block Linocut
In this project, we will print a bold rooster illustration. I will show you how to create a six-colour linocut using three blocks.
Module 5
Winter View – Simple Reduction Linocut
Explore reduction linocut with a calm winter landscape. We will print layer by layer from a single block and learn how to plan colours and carving steps in advance.
Module 6
Oranges – Two-Block Reduction Linocut
Learn a more advanced reduction technique using two blocks. This project shows how to combine reduction printing with multiple blocks to achieve clean and strong contrast.
Module 7
Tiger – Reduction Linocut
In this lesson, I will show you how I create a larger, detailed print of an expressive tiger using reduction linocut.
